This Refund Policy explains how refunds are processed on LiberTickets. By purchasing tickets through our platform, you agree to this policy.

1. General Refund Policy

All ticket sales are generally final unless otherwise specified by the event organizer. LiberTickets acts as a ticketing platform and does not set refund policies for individual events.

2. Organizer Discretion

Event organizers have the right to set their own refund policies. Some events may offer:

  • Full refunds up to a certain date before the event
  • Partial refunds with a cancellation fee
  • No refunds (all sales final)
  • Credit for future events instead of refunds

3. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Contact the event organizer directly through the contact information provided on the event page
  2. Or contact LiberTickets support at support@libertickets.com
  3. Include your order number and ticket details
  4. Provide a reason for the refund request

Processing Timeline

  • • Refund requests are reviewed within 2-5 business days
  • • Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
  • • Refunds appear in your account within 7-14 business days (depending on your payment method)

5. When Refunds May Be Issued

Event Cancellation

If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you are typically entitled to a full refund, including service fees.

Event Postponement

If an event is postponed, tickets are usually valid for the new date. Refunds may be available if you cannot attend the new date, subject to the organizer's policy.

Significant Event Changes

If an event undergoes significant changes (venue, date, lineup), you may be eligible for a refund depending on the organizer's policy.

Organizer's Refund Policy

If the event organizer has a refund policy allowing refunds within a specific timeframe, you may request a refund according to those terms.

6. When Refunds Are Not Available

Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Change of mind after purchase (unless organizer allows it)
  • Inability to attend due to personal circumstances
  • Duplicate purchases due to user error
  • Events marked as "No Refunds" or "All Sales Final"
  • Refund request made after the refund deadline specified by the organizer

7. Service Fees

Service fees charged by LiberTickets are generally non-refundable unless:

  • The event is cancelled by the organizer
  • We are unable to process your transaction
  • There is an error on our part

8. Refund Method

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact support to arrange an alternative refund method.

9. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider is not the appropriate way to request a refund. Please contact us directly first. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension.
